There are many ways to decorate with summertime colors. But one of the most popular is to use it in fashion. This time of year always has us wanting to wear our favorite vibrant outfits, from accessories to cute dresses.

Summertime is synonymous with fun in the sun and bright days. Yet there’s no reason why that can’t be reflected in our wardrobes too! Letting your personality shine by adding pops of orange, coral, lemon yellow, pastel pink, light green, sky blue, silver, or gold is an easy way for you to transition from the office into date night.

Here are Summer Mood Board Ideas

1. Outfit:

A casual, summery outfit is a must for these high temperatures! Whether you fancy wearing oversized shorts or a flowery skirt, I would go with the items of clothing that make you feel most comfortable and confident. Also, remember to add some accessories such as belts and boots because it’s not just your clothes that will show your fabulous style!

2. Swimwear:

When you know you’re going on holiday, why not choose some gorgeous swimwear?! Make sure to wear flattering colors and styles which can be slightly revealing without being too revealing (if that makes sense). Try looking out for new trends in bikinis or monokinis.

3. Hair:

If you have long hair, then recreate my curls by getting the look right from my Summer Hair Ideas article, and if you have shorter hair, try out some of the simple styles I’ve outlined in the blog post.

4. Nails:

Make sure your nails are done to perfection this summer! For a classic manicure, get your favorite color, pale pink or nude, and add lots of nail art like in my Nail Art Ideas feature. If you’re looking for something brighter, go for pastel colors such as lilac and mint shades. The possibilities are endless!

5. Accessories:

Accessories can make (or break) an outfit, so be mindful when choosing them and pick whichever makes you feel best about yourself; don’t let anyone tell you what to wear because it’s your life! Also, you can wear lots of jewelry – a huge statement necklace is a must this year, and if that’s too much, add some pretty earrings.

6. Makeup:

Pick a light foundation that will allow your skin to breathe in the hot weather, and go for bright lipstick shades such as reds, oranges, or pinks, depending on how brave you’re feeling with makeup techniques. You can also add false eyelashes for more glamour.

These are just some ideas for you to have fun when recreating your summer look, so get creative and experiment! You may not change the weather, but you can change your style.
